Thanks to No Use Empty a former Army Cadet Centre in Ramsgate which had been empty for 3 years has been transformed to create 5 x 2 bedroom new homes.
The owner commented: “The development went particularly smoothly due to the structure and operation of the loan. Dealing with other financial agencies was frustrating and ultimately fruitless for us. With your help we were able to produce five good quality houses; four out of five of which are already occupied by local working people.
The neglected building has been dramatically improved. We have had many positive comments from the local neighbours and public who have seen the scheme develop”.
Not only has the project been completed, our loan which was awarded late December 2017 has been repaid and recycled back into our loan fund.
