Dublin Mews, River, Dover
Thanks to No Use Empty a former pub – the Dublin Man of War (River, Nr Dover) which had been empty for 3 years has been transformed to create 3 new dwellings.
In addition to this 3 detached houses and a pair of semi-detached houses have also been completed on site.
That’s 8 brand new much needed family homes.
Dublin Estates Limited commented: “We would never have completed the development in the timescale we achieved (16 months) if it were not for the support of No Use Empty.
The benefit of a short term interest bearing loan, ease of accessing funds and the support we received has been tremendous.
Eight homes have been created, two are sold and occupied and the rest all have buyers following a very successful marketing campaign by local agents Taylor Gurney.
The neglected building has been sympathetically improved. local neighbours and public who have seen the scheme develop have been very complimentary.
The whole experience was very positive and we are already in discussions with NUE regarding a new project in the district of Dover to assist with providing more high quality homes”.
